Privacy notice
This notice explains what this site collects, why, where it is kept, and how to have it removed.
Effective [TODO: effective date] · Controller: [TODO: legal entity name]
IWhat we collect
This site collects information in two ways, and no others.
- What you submit. The inquiry form asks for your name, email address, company, an indication of where the business stands, and your description of the situation. You choose what to put in it.
- What the server records. Our host records standard technical data for every request, including IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. This happens for all websites and is used for security and reliability.
This site sets no advertising cookies, runs no analytics or tracking pixels, and does not build a profile of you. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads. If you would prefer to avoid this, the fonts can be self-hosted on request.
IIWhy we collect it
To read your inquiry and reply to it, and to keep a record of correspondence with prospective and current clients. Where a lawful basis is required, ours is legitimate interest in responding to a business inquiry you initiated, and your consent, given at the point of submission.
IIIWhere it is stored
Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, Inc., which hosts this site, on servers located in the United States. Netlify acts as our processor. If you are contacting us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred there.
Correspondence that follows may also be held in our email system, [TODO: email provider].
IVWhat we do not do
- We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
- We do not add you to a mailing list because you sent an inquiry.
- We do not use what you tell us for any purpose other than responding to you and, if we work together, doing the work.
VHow long we keep it
Inquiries are retained for [TODO: retention period, e.g. 24 months] from the date of last contact, after which they are deleted. Records relating to an actual engagement are kept for as long as required by the engagement agreement and applicable law.
VIYour rights
You may ask us to confirm what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection under the GDPR, and the right to complain to your supervisory authority. If you are a California resident, you have the rights of access, deletion, correction, and to know, under the CCPA as amended. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.
To exercise any of these, write to [TODO: contact@rekt.tech]. We will respond within the period required by the applicable law.
